Great Lent 2026: A Pastoral Letter from our Bishop
Partnership with St Leonard’s Hospice

This week, Fr Michael and parishioners visited St Leonard’s Hospice, with a view to setting up a partnership between St Constantine’s and the Hospice Charity. In the coming months we hope to be able to give generously to the hospice, with time and with funds to support an organisation giving vital support to the community.

Times are not easy for any healthcare organisation, yet hospices are especially vulnerable, being only partially funded by the state. Moreover, changes in the law to allow Assisted Dying represent a watershed in how society views death, and it is all the more incumbent on Christians to support viable alternatives, such as good Palliative Care. Expect more news and announcements about the Hospice in the coming weeks!
